P.E.A.C.E of Mind's education program is based on the nationally recognized  prevention program created in conjunction with Pattie Fitzgerald at Safely Ever After. We are also proud to be recognized as a partner of NCMEC's Take25 organization and helping parents learn how to "take25".

Who we are......

Our educators are certified agents through the National Security Alliance, a division of the kid-safe network and we sucessfully completed the Bellevue Police Department Citizens Academy. We have a combined history of over 16 years in non-profit organizations dedicated to families and children.  We are proud participants in the Presidential Volunteer Service award project and were recently awarded the 2007 Presidential Volunteers Bronze, Silver and Gold volunteer awards for outstanding volunteer service. Our safety educators are also parents, just like you, who wanted their kids to be safe but also to have a childhood that is still fun!  

Our educators have been featured on KOMO4, Kiro 7, King 5, Q13 Fox, Fox National News, Northwest Afternoon, The Mike & Julie Show, & numerous talk radio shows.

Why we started.....We had grown weary of the outdated and ineffective presentations about "stranger danger". Nobody needs parenting strategies that scare the wits scared out of them! We sought to develop a top notch safety program that parents could walk away from feeling empowered, along with some sense of peace. It was from that desire, as well as an obvious need, that P.E.A.C.E of Mind was created. We sought out the most well respected experts in child safety to help us build our programs.   The P.E.A.C.E of Mind workshops will give you easy tools and tips that you can use with your kids everyday. We will help you navigate through the statistics, what they really mean and how to arm yourself with the best weapon around: education!
